Our cruising program is new to MBYC and is open to both sailing and power enthusiasts. This is one of the best ways to get to know your fellow yacht club members and of course have a great time too. For those new to boating or cruising, this is also a great way to gain experience while taking advantage of the safety in numbers rule. It is also a great way to increase your confidence and abilities on the water!
We have many experienced members who help out at any time should anyone need assistance. Each cruise should have one or more captains and crew who would be responsible for hosting a Potluck Arrival Party and Dinner
Sign up sheets will be located on the notice board of the MBYC clubhouse. Sign up is mandatory for those attending to help ensure a dock will be waiting for you at our destination. Friday nights can often be accommodated, but not guaranteed. Please indicate if you plan to arrive early.
Space is often limited so PLEASE be fair to your fellow members. If you cannot make a cruise that you signed up for, please let us know ASAP. This way others on the waiting list can use that spot.
