Starting at 12:01am Monday December 21, 2020 by order of the Premiere of Ontario, the City of Hamilton will be in the Grey – Lock down zone. Restrictions for this lock down our outlined in the keeping Ontario Safe and Open Framework with specifics for Marinas/ Boat Clubs.
In accordance with this announcement and the guidelines we are bound by, the MBYC Building Facilities will be closed to all members and guests until further notice. These orders will be in effect from 12:01am Monday December 21, 2020 for a minimum of 28 days or until we are permitted to re-open.
The MBYC Yard will still be accessible to all boat owners to work/ check on their boats. Please keep your group activity to a minimum and follow all provincial guidelines. We are also requiring that the gate to be closed after every entrance or exit.
We also know that many members are still yet to renew their memberships and the renewal date fast approaching. Please be assured that the executive are presently working on a plan to help facilitate these renewals.
Your MBYC Executive will continue to endeavor in keeping all members informed as much as possible as we all face this pandemic.
